HALLOWED EVE?

Well here it is, almost Halloween 2020, one that will be completely different from any others thanks to the current pandemic. I don't know anything about Halloween in other countries but here in the U.S. it's been a big deal. I would like to share with you some of my past adventures which happened on the "Hallowed Eve".  When I was very young I belonged to the Girl Scouts and in those days we didn't have to go around peddling candy. We did all sorts of interesting and constructive things and even had campouts. On one overnight campout outside of town, I remember sitting around the campfire listening to Rocky Reagan tell ghost stories. He was a real rancher and a master story teller. I think that was on a Halloween but even if it wasn't it would have been appropriate for that time. They were wonderful tales. Look him up. He wrote some interesting books about Texas and ranching. THE "BIG EASY"

 I sold real estate in New Orleans in the 1970s and 1980s and believe me, that was interesting! New Orleans is an interesting place anyway but when you go into other people's homes with strangers, it's even more so. I drove a 1976 emerald green Cadillac Sedan DeVille with a white hardtop in those days. I learned many years later that my kids called it a "pimpmobile". It had white leather seats and was a darn good looking automobile. One hot summer day I was showing property to a South American client and I wasn't making any progress in the selling field. After I had shown him several houses, I asked him again to tell me the kind he was looking for. he turned to me and said, "I can't concentrate right now. You make me so hot, I can't think!"
