Rambling Thoughts and Observations

Today I don't feel much like composing complete, coherent sentences, but I do want to share the following with you. Some are quite useful little things I've learned over my many years and some are from first hand experience or things I've seen.


  1. If you're planning a romantic evening, forget eating broccoli or bananas
  2. Don't use a toothpick to clean your ears
  3. Don't dunk your false teeth in your wine;it drastically changes the bouquet
  4. The amount of toilet paper used us directly related to the dispenser's distance from the toilet
  5. If your're going fishing, don't drink prune juice that morning
  6. If you're going on a trip, don't wear white pants. In fact, don't wear white pants if you're doing much of anything
  7. Fettucine Alfredo is not an Italian wine 
  8. Apertif is not a Russian dish, nor is it two teeth
  9. Central heat is nice but you can't cuddle up in front of it
  10. A wooden spoon placed over the top of a boiling pot of most anything keeps it from boiling over
  11. Advise your children against taking their pet goldfish to bed with them
  12. Try to store your Fixodent in a different area from your toothpaste. Come to think of it, don't store your Fixodent next to your Preparation H either
  13. Even if you dip fresh garlic in chocolate syrup, you'll still belch and have bad breath
  14. There must be something to drinking wine, eating garlic and olive oil; look at all the healthy old Italian men
  15. Don't move furniture when you're barefooted
  16. Contrary to what men may believe, baldness is not necessarily a turnoff, but a long shank of hair hanging down one side is
  17. When laundered money is referred to, it does not mean the bills you find in the dryer when it stops
  18. It is not advisable to sit front row center for an event if you've taken a diuretic
